Hi friends!
Well this week flew by and it's all kind of a blur so I don't really have much to talk about... haha.
On Friday it's already May so that's crazy because I feel like we're still in February or something.
The lady who rents us our house has a ceramics store so today we painted ceramics with her and it was super cool but we haven't taken pictures yet because they're drying... but I made a fish and it's pretty chido I'd say.
We found 4 new investigators this week who are all super cool and we're planning on inviting them all to be baptized with baptismal dates this week and we're excited!
I finished the Book Of Mormon for the first time in the mission! Haha... only took 9 months but I did it. (; And this week our mission president sent us an email saying he wants us all to read the Book of Mormon together in 2 months (so that we finish it before he leaves and our new president comes) so we'll see how that goes. (:
Luis got ordained with the Priesthood yesterday... woooh! He's still progressing so much and we're so proud of him. (: Now we're working on getting him his Patriarchal Blessing!
On Sunday during Sacrament meeting the Young Men's program had a special presentation and at the end they had all the boys/men in the congregation go up to the from to sing the hymn "Ye Elders of Israel" and wow it was so powerful and the spirit was so strong in that room. Priesthood power is real and amazing!
We have made so many friends here... We have a friend that gives us Elotes (seasoned corn on the cob), a friend who's a taxi driver that offers us free rides now, friends that work in a grocery store by our house that always say hi to us, etc. So basically we have a lot of hookups here in Serdan. (;
One of our investigators who is 18 sent us a text this week telling us we're the only people she trusts and that she wanted to tell us something so we talked with her and she told us what was going on and asked us not to tell anybody... WHAT? We had no idea what to say or how to help her but then we talked to her in person and everything went well and we're trying to help her as much as we can. What's sad is that she is already studying in a university and has everything going for her /: But she's awesome and understands that it's a consequence of her decisions and she said she is going to make the best of it!
Well yep that's pretty much it. I hope you all have a great start of May. (:
Love and miss you all a ton!
Hermana EyringWell we didn't take any pictures this week so here's a nice throwback picture of us singing with the Elders at my 2nd baptism in the mission and the cutest kid ever taking selfies with my camera(:
