"So Elder we tomar the setenta y six?...exactly" - I can't speak English anymore!

Guess what?!!

Well remember my 2nd area, Aquiles Serdan, where I only was for 2 weeks and they changed me? Yeah, I'm here again!! When they announced it in the Transfers Meeting I was super surprised and kinda without realizing yelled out "otra vez!?" I think people were amused with my reaction haha. And I'm opening the area for the 2nd time. OH and this area literally touches my last area Juarez. So close yet so far away... My companion is Hermana Herrera and she's from Monterrey, Mexico. We have the same amount of time in the mission so we go home together. (: She's awesome and we get along super well. We've had tons of fun this week...haha.

Even though I was only here for 2 weeks and it was like 9 months ago, all the members are remembering me and are happy to see me and it makes me so happy! Who knows, maybe I'll finish my mission here!

Today we went to El Centro and bought cute clothes which are sooo much cheaper here than at home, so I took advantage of it. (:

Our house is actually the house I chose with my companion when I was here before, but I never actually got to live there cause they finally moved houses days after I left. SO now I finally get to live here! There's 2 bathrooms which is super convenient but my plumbing sucks so that well, sucks... But don't worry we're getting it fixed. (:

We have an investigator that is awesome! She's so nice but is SO insecure. She has a 6 year old daughter and a 11 year old son who has Down's Syndrome (he's the sweetest person and loves to give kisses on the cheeks but he basically just licks your face...haha). She has been battling with alcohol addiction for some time and has been in rehab like 4 times. But she's been sober for like 3 months now and she really wants to be better. She went to church for the first time yesterday and she said she felt so much peace and it was so beautiful to her! We're going to hopefully put a baptismal date with her tonight so PRAY LOTS for her!! (:

I'm officially in my 3rd to last "transfer," AHHH. That means if I don't finish my mission with this companion I'll probably only have 1 other companion. And it's likely that I finish in this area but if not I'll only have 1 more area!

Sorry I don't have too much to talk about and I promise I'll have more pictures next time!

Love you all(:

"Hermana no llore, le va a hacer fea."

Wowwww!

Welp, I have transfers and I was NOT expecting it at all and I'm so sad! When they called me to tell me, I seriously thought they were joking. I'm not ready to leave this area and my companion yet. :( This is my 3rd comp in a row that I've only had for 1 transfer!) :( But I know the Lord has something prepared for me in my new area. I'll update you next week on where I am and who my companion is!

On Tuesday me and the missionaries from my "generation"... really all the missionaries who were with me in the MTC, had to go to the immigrations office to renew our Visas. It was so fun because we all got to catch up and talk about how far we've come. It was so nice joking around with them again. (: We were there waiting for like 3 hours and in the middle we all went to 7-11 because we got bored... haha, but it was worth it! (:

On Friday we helped paint the outside gates/wall thing of the church and we got so much done! We were there at like 8 am and left at like 11 am. But it was great serving!

Saturday and Sunday were the Cultural Event and Re-Dedication of the Mexico City Temple and it was AWESOME. I felt the spirit sooo much during the Cultural Event and it just confirmed my testimony even more of the church and the Book of Mormon! They broadcasted the Temple Dedication in all of the stake centers in all of Mexico. For the dedication there were 3 sessions and to go in you had to have a special temple recommend. Even though we were just in the Stake Center and not in the actual temple, they said it was, in that moment, like an "extention of the temple." President Eyring and Elder Holland spoke and I loved their talks. And I actually cried during the dedication prayer. You could feel the spirit SO strongly and I had the strongest impression. It was such an amazing feeling that I will never forget. (: I am in such a special place. Mexico, especially Puebla, is so special in the history of the church!

Yesterday we told Emilio that I was leaving and he was so upset! He was like "WHAT?" How are you leaving? And my comp said she was gonna come back with her new companion and he was like, "NO you can't bring a new companion!" It made me so sad and I'm even more sad that I'm going to miss his baptism. :(

These past few weeks have definitely been a learning experience for me. Sometimes I feel like what I want and what the Lord wants for me are always completely different things, but I'm slowly learning to accept his will and trust Him. I know he'll never lead me astray. (: He lives and loves me and all of you. I am completely sure of that.

I hope you all have a great week! Pray for me so I have a good companion and that I get used to my area quickly. (:

Trying out our Mexican night accessories.

We can't celebrate 15 de Septiembre together anymore so we celebrated a little early... haha.

"Hermano usted es muy fuerte" "De olor o qué?" -Emilio

Well sorry,  I don't have lots of time to write because... 1. We got lost and had to start writing late and 2. The internet went out in the Colonia we're in so yeah...

Today we went to El Centro of Puebla and bought "touristy stuff" since it's almost 15 de Septiembre and we have to dress all Mexicany. (:

The other day my companion had an asthma attack and it was the scariest thing ever. I have never in my life been with someone who was having an asthma attack and she didn't have an inhaler so yeah that was interesting, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting closer to being prepared to be a mom. (; My "motherly" instincts came in pretty nicely. Oh and she's all good now no worries...

We had a Family Home Evening with Emilio the other night and it was really fun. (: It's the 2nd one we've done with him and he loves them. So many members from the ward have been helping us with him and coming with us to visit him! And we changed his baptismal date a little sooner (because of General Conference) and he's being baptized September 26th! Ahhh... I hope I don't get transferred before then!

I love reading the Book of Mormon in Spanish. (: I don't know if I already mentioned it but it's my goal to finish it in Spanish before I go home in January. I'm in Alma 19 so far so I still have a ways to go... haha.

Thinking about the fact that I only have 4.5 months left in the mission is so crazy and I know I'm going to miss it SO much. The experiences of a missionary are one of a kind and life changing. I wouldn't trade it for anything! (:

I hope you all have a wonderful week. (: I'll let you know next week if I have transfers or not!

Love,
